Kaleidoscope

Written in the summer of 2010

All the little pieces of my life are gathered here
Spinning round and around
Beauty in the chaos
As I hold the pieces to the sun
Something true is found.

And if you slow your eye and take the time, you’ll see
The shape of something new is coming clear in me.
